My First Travel Companion Trip to Thessaloniki – Greece

I still remember Bianca calling me and saying, “Mila, you have a booking in Thessaloniki.” I literally started jumping up and down. This was my first real trip as an escort travel companion, something I had hoped for since I first started. I already had some experience with dates in Belgium and the Netherlands, but this felt completely different. I was going to take a plane to another country to meet someone I had never met before. I started counting down the days straight away.

Since we had never met, Bianca asked my client if he could send me a short introduction about himself. He did, and he even sent me a voice note. Hearing his voice somehow made it all feel a little less unknown. He sounded warm and interesting, and I already had the feeling we were going to get along very well.

Finally off to Greece

The days before the trip seemed to go by so slowly, and then suddenly it was time to leave for Greece. I had butterflies everywhere. The journey turned into quite an adventure, with delays, a problem with the plane and even more delays. Luckily Bianca and Jill were there for me, helping with the practical things and keeping me calm.

When I finally arrived in Thessaloniki, I jumped into an Uber and headed to the hotel. After all the chaos, walking into this beautiful hotel felt like a different world. I quickly freshened up, looked in the mirror and thought, Yes Mila, this is it.

Into the city for dinner

From the moment we met, something felt different. It honestly felt a little like love at first sight. What a wonderful and interesting man. He was warm, attentive and so easy to talk to. He even surprised me with a present, which made that first meeting feel even more special. Later that evening we took a taxi into the city for dinner. We went to a small, cosy restaurant with exactly the kind of atmosphere I love. The food was amazing and the conversation flowed naturally from the beginning.

At some point I remember thinking how strange it was that this was technically my first evening with someone I had only just met, because it really did not feel that way. It felt more like being on a date with someone I already knew. We ordered far too much food and simply enjoyed the evening. After dinner we returned to the hotel and enjoyed the rest of the evening in private. Some things are better kept between two people, but the chemistry we had felt during dinner definitely stayed with us.

See you next time

The next morning we had breakfast together at the hotel, and of course me eyes were bigger than my stomach, there was so much delicoiious things, iw anted to try it all, I took far too much from the buffet. When it was time to leave, it did not really feel like goodbye. More like see you next time.

After saying goodbye, I still had a little time before I had to head back to the airport, so I decided to take a walk through Thessaloniki. It felt like the perfect way to end the trip, just wandering around for a while and taking it all in before flying home. Thessaloniki, and especially the person I met there, will always stay with me. It was my first real travel companion adventure, and one I know I will never forget.
